A representative study recently undertaken in Germany shows that, in the consumer's eyes, TEAM 7 stands out even more distinctly from other leading furniture brands than was already the case last year. The Austrian manufacturer is viewed by consumers in a considerably more favourable light than its competitors in all dimensions: durable furniture, healthy materials, outstanding quality and craftsmanship - TEAM 7 is likeable and credible. What's more, TEAM 7 products are rated to give the highest value for money. TEAM 7's aided brand recognition has risen from 25% in the previous year to 28% now - due not least to its unique brand image and the new claim "It's a tree story". Unaided brand recognition even places TEAM 7 among the Top 4 best known furniture brands. The increase is attributable to the enthusiasm generated by the brand. TEAM 7 arouses emotions and is remembered.

The aye chair convinced the jury with its filigree appearance. According to designer Jacob Strobel, "the chair's organic design reflects original models in nature. The strikingly tailored backrest gives aye an airy appearance and invites the observer to grasp the light chair and move it." Fine leather seams enclose the upholstered chair's delicate volume with organic flair. Precisely defined edges contrast with generously rounded radii. A vertical ledge dividing the back indicates a spine. aye is characterized by its aesthetic form and comfort: with a flexible backrest to lean back and relax, ergonomic armrests and a comfortable, elastic seat on which to spend hours sitting round the table.

The award-winning chair will be presented for the first time in the TEAM 7 booth at imm cologne from 16 to 22 January. At the same time, aye will also appear in the Design Council's Award Presentation of all products bearing the label "winner 2012".

"We see the interior innovation award as confirmation of our concept combining precious natural wood with sophisticated design, innovative technology and consistent, sustainable production," says Dr. Georg Emprechtinger, TEAM 7's managing proprietor. The interior innovation award is the eighth design award to be won by the Austrian manufacturer's natural wood furniture this year.

Auf dem Stand drängten sich die Händler, die Mitarbeiter schrieben fleißig Aufträge – entsprechend euphorisch fiel die Bilanz des CEO’s aus: „Wir haben ein Wachstum von 7% geschafft und damit unsere eigenen Erwartungen noch übertroffen. Nach allem, was ich hier auf der Messe sehe, können wir dieses Jahr mit einem zweistelligen Umsatzwachstum rechnen.“, sagte Georg Emprechtigner. „Ich höre oft von Fachhändlern, dass wir die innovativste Firma in der Branche sind, was Produktentwicklung anbelangt. Das kommt natürlich nicht von ungefähr: Bei uns arbeiten 40 Mitarbeiter das ganze Jahr über an technischen Entwicklungen.“ Auch beim Design spielt TEAM 7 in der obersten Liga mit: Gleich drei Mal wurde die österreichische Manufaktur mit dem begehren Interior Innovation Award ausgezeichnet: Das Wohnprogramm lux, der Couchtisch stern und die vao Küche gewannen den Preis für innovatives Design.

Damit stellt der internationale Marktführer für ökologische Naturholzmöbel seine Designkompetenz wieder einmal unter Beweis. Was Glaubwürdigkeit, Natürlichkeit und Qualität anbelangt, traut man TEAM 7 ohnehin viel zu, das ergab eine Umfrage unter LOHAS (lifestyle of health an sustainability), also Menschen, die kritisch und umweltbewusst konsumieren. „In diesen Bereichen sind wir den drei führenden Möbelmarken in Deutschland überlegen.“, sagte Georg Emprechtinger. „Jetzt ist es unsere Aufgabe, diesen Rohdiamanten weiter zu schleifen und seine Facetten noch deutlicher herauszuarbeiten.“ Diese Aufgabe fällt künftig LLR zu. Die Hamburger Werbeagentur steht im Kreativen-Ranking an zweiter Stelle und hat die neue Kampagne für TEAM 7 entworfen.  „it´s a tree story heißt der Claim, den Agenturchef Bent Rosinski beim Händlerabend vorstellte.  „Die Marke hat in Deutschland eine Bekanntheit von 25% da ist noch mehr drin.“, sagte Rosinski. Er lobte die Werte für die TEAM 7 steht: die große Authentizität, die Natürlichkeit, die Qualität und das Handwerk. Werte, die er in der neuen Kampagne kommunizieren will: „Die Kampagne erzählt echte, wahre Geschichten rund ums Thema Holz.“

Markenbotschafterin Sarah Wiener tut ein Übriges, um TEAM 7 einer breiten Öffentlichkeit zu präsentieren. Die überzeugte Bio-Köchin ist ein bekennender Fan des Naturmöbelherstellers und hat ihr neues Restaurant und ihre Showküche in Berlin mit TEAM 7 Möbeln eingerichtet. Ein Flagshipstore in Wien soll als Gesicht der Marke die edlen Möbel international erlebbar machen. Denn aus der kleinen oberösterreichischen Manufaktur ist längst ein Premiumanbieter geworden, die mit Geschäften in Miami, Novosibirsk, Tel Aviv und Taipeh inzwischen rund um den Globus vertreten ist. Hier sieht Emprechtinger gute Möglichkeiten, den Umsatz des Unternehmens weiter zu steigern.
In den Stamm Märkten Österreich, Deutschland und der Schweiz sieht der Unternehmer ebenfalls gutes Wachstumspotential: mit lux und L1, einer neuen Variante der linee Küche, hat TEAM 7 auch preislich attraktive Angebote im Sortiment. „Bei den Küchen ist es wie mit dem Auto: je aufwändiger die Ausstattung, desto teurer wird es. Von 7.000 bis 70.000 Euro ist bei unseren Küchen alles drin. Das Wohnprogramm lux ist nicht nur jung in der Anmutung, sondern auch jung im Preis.“, sagt Georg Emprechtinger.
Mit dieser Strategie sieht sich er sich gut gerüstet, um sein Ziel, den Umsatz von TEAM 7 bis 2014 auf 100 Millionen Euro zu steigern, auch zu erreichen.
